Amanda Flagg

Amanda started working at Willow Run back in the days, in 2005, when only one person was needed to work in the kennel area. Now she is the Operations Manager. She graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science, with a concentration in horses. Amanda has been teaching horseback riding lessons for over 12 years. She is also certified through NARHA (North American Riding for the Handicapped Association) to teach therapeutic riding and started a therapeutic riding program called Smiling Strides. Amanda currently runs a horseback riding program at a local summer camp. She has many animals of her own including rescue dogs, cats, and horses. She would have lots more if her husband let her.☺

Katie Small

Katie began working at Willow Run in August of 2008 after holding a job as a CNA at Maine General for several years. She also worked at the Kennebec Valley Humane Society and volunteered at Central Maine Dog Rehabilitation Center. Katie currently attends UMA for Criminal Justice and has been in the Maine Army National Guard since 2006 where she was Soldier of the Year for her unit in 2011. Katie has two dogs, Ellie a pitbull and her latest addition Blade, a pitbull/labrador rescue.

Lynda Hinds

Lynda joined the Willow Run staff in the very early days as a house and dog sitter for proprietor Susan Pullen. She went on to be trained by Susan in all aspects of kennel operations, and eventually was the first staff person to live full-time in the house attached to the kennel. Lynda spends the rest of her time employed by Slate's Restaurant in Hallowell where she has worked since moving from Washington where she operated her own bakery. The mother of three, trained baker and artist enjoys all of the arts and Maine's four season landscape. In her limited spare time, Lynda walks dogs and dog sits in local communities.

Irina Bouchard

Irina has been employed at Willow Run since October of 2010. She graduated from high school in 2010 and is currently taking a break from school. Her goal is to move to California and work with dogs and horses. She has a very strong passion for training animals. Her puppy is named Gibbs.

Audrey Cote

Audrey graduated from the University of Maine with Bachelors degree in Psychology with a concentration in Social Psychology as well as a minor in Child Development and Family Relations. Since graduating, Audrey has worked in Special Education and is thrilled to have joined the team here at Willow Run. Audrey is the proud owner of a wonderful golden retriever named Andy.

Meghan Small

Meghan has been a part of the Willow Run team since December 2008. She also works full time as a licensed Veterinary Technician at Falmouth Veterinary Hospital. She worked at Willow Run while going to school, but loved it here too much to leave upon graduation! Meghan also does a lot of dog sitting in the surrounding area of her home in Falmouth. Meghan's new puppy is named Cash.

Kelley Symes

Kelley has been a part of Willow Run since August of 2010. Currently, Kelley also works part-time as a waitress, but plans to attend school to become a Veterinary Technician. Her bright smile is infectious.

Connie Wynne

Connie joined Willow Run in February 2010. She grew up on the back of a horse with a dog by her side. After graduating from the University of Maine Orono, she worked many years in the accounting field. While spending 12 years in Montana, she got back with the animals by working first at a ranch then at horse stables. To keep a balance in her work world, she took on bookkeeping clients and then added four-legged beings to her client list by becoming a certified Equine Massage Therapist. After moving back to Maine, Connie adopted her dog Codi.

Paul Marotto

Paul escaped his corporate job in Boston as an Oracle database administrator in 2002. He worked at a doggie daycare center in suburban Boston for two years, after which he was lucky enough to be able to travel around the world from 2004 to 2006. He and his partner settled in Winthrop, where they live with Molly and Joey, their adopted dogs. Paul has been caring for your babies at Willow Run since 2007.
